SLDC was established in the early 1980’s, by Francesco de Crescenzo, a lawyer specialised in company law, with focus on shareholders’ agreement. Its first offices were in via del Circo Massimo, 7, in Rome. When Enrico de Crescenzo joined the Firm, the activity shifted towards non-banking financial services, first in the consumer credit and leasing sector, and later extending to the banking sector.

In 1988 SLDC moved to its current offices in via degli Scipioni, 157, and in 1998 the Firm opened its Milan offices. Currently SLDC assists leading credit institutions in the management of non-performing loans and in disputes against said institutions.
